Xbox Game Pass users have some bittersweet news as a selection of games are set to leave the service on August 31st. The most significant departure is CD Projekt Red's legendary open-world RPG, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. This critically acclaimed title, celebrated for its rich narrative and immersive world, will no longer be accessible through the subscription.
Beyond the massive appeal of The Witcher 3, other notable games exiting the Game Pass library include the action-packed roguelike Neon Abyss, the charming indie adventure Another Crab’s Treasure, the narrative-driven I Am Your Beast, and the space simulation game One Lonely Outpost. This removal highlights the ever-changing nature of Game Pass libraries, where titles are regularly added and removed.
While losing access can be disappointing, fans of The Witcher 3 might find solace in knowing that the Complete Edition is frequently available at a discounted price. This offers a cost-effective way to continue Geralt's adventures even after it leaves the service. It's a good reminder for Game Pass subscribers to keep an eye on the 'Leaving Soon' tab to manage their gaming backlog and consider purchasing titles they wish to keep.
