Fans can finally get their hands on a physical copy of Dying Light: The Beast, but only if they own a PlayStation 5. The publisher has detailed why other platforms are being left out.
- Dying Light: The Beast is receiving physical editions one year after its initial release.
- Physical copies will be exclusively available for PlayStation 5.
- The publisher has provided reasons for this platform-specific decision.
- Multiple editions are available, including a high-priced Anniversary Edition.

It's been a full year since Dying Light: The Beast first hit digital storefronts, and fans will soon have the option to purchase a physical copy. However, this exciting news comes with a significant limitation: the physical editions are being produced exclusively for the PlayStation 5.
This decision has left many wondering about the fate of potential physical releases on other platforms, such as the Nintendo Switch and its upcoming successor. The publisher has offered explanations for this console-specific approach, though the details may not satisfy all eager players.
Details have emerged regarding the various collector's and retail editions, with prices ranging from $66 for a standard retail version to a hefty $192 for a special "Anniversary Edition." This tiered pricing suggests a focus on catering to dedicated collectors willing to invest more for exclusive content.
While the exclusivity to PS5 might be a point of contention, it's clear that the game's publisher is aiming to capitalize on a specific market segment with these premium physical offerings, ensuring a tangible legacy for Dying Light: The Beast on Sony's latest console.
